Welcome to the revamped "Life as a Nerdy Girl" blog. The blog got a makeover, not me!
I finally made myself a proper banner and toned down the colors to something more soothing: blues and grays, with small hints of pink! If you're viewing this on a mobile device, it should be easier to read now... but I think you should check out the desktop version as the layout is a lot more appealing.
Well, you can obviously see the banner above, but here it is again:
I didn't come up with the background design myself... let's just say I got creative with finding an existing banner on a banner design website. But it had a watermark and I manipulated it with screen shots and image editors. Adding the badge with my avatar is my own design element...

I couldn't find an avatar "wig" for curly unruly hair, but I do where my hair in ponytails a lot, so that was my next best option.
Let me know if you like the new subdued look. I think it's a little more calming to the eye, and a little playful. Please leave a comment below!
