Halloween Chocolate Stash, Ranked

Hey Nerds,
if you do any kind of shopping, you would of seen all the Halloween candy and chips lining the store shelves in September (maybe in August?). I try to resist buying any too ahead of Halloween because, in the past, we end up eating it before Halloween, and then I have to go out and buy more.
I give out chip baggies and a selection of chocolates, specifically, Nestle brand, and Mars brand.  This year I also threw in a bag or Reece's Peanut Butter cups so I can write a blog post ranking the chocolates from favorite to least favorite.
Question for you: Do you tend to give out your least favorite candy first in hopes that if there's anything left at the end of the night, it will be the stuff you like?

Here's my favorite, in order as a visual... and down below I explain my love (or disdain) for the candy.

Snickers
Snickers... it's just got everything going on for it.  Nougat, plus peanuts, plus caramel, plus a creamy chocolate coating.  All the textures work together great.  I also really like their marketing campaign where they put moods on the wrappers bars.  If I pick up a bar for Dwayne I try to find one that matches moods (like Sleepy).

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
Peanut Butter and Chocolate.  That's all I have to say.  Is it weird that I like to cut up a Reese's like a pie with a steak knife?  It makes the experience of eating the chocolate last longer.

Coffee Crisp
This is more like a chocolate covered cookie with mocha layers.  Did you know, in the United States, they don't have Coffee Crisp?  When I used to commute to work in Michigan, every once in a while, I would bring over Coffee Crisp bars for them, so they could enjoy it too.  I like Coffee Crisps because they seem like a lighter treat and I don't feel as bad eating a Coffee Crisp as compared to a Snickers.

Plain M&Ms
I just find M&Ms simple... like a little pop of chocolate.  What I really enjoy is that you can stretch out this snack if you can manage to just pop one at a time.

Peanut M&Ms
Instead of Peanut Butter and Chocolate, we got... Peanuts and chocolate.  It's all good.

Kit Kat
Kit Kats are nice, because, like a Coffee Crisp, it's feels like a lighter treat.  Maybe something you could eat with coffee or tea.

Twix
Twix, goes in the same category of the cookie/chocolate treat.  Pet peeve is that the caramel gets stuck in my teeth and the cookie is thick.

Aero
I got nothing against Aero... it's just that I find it too plain compared to the other choices I've got here.

Mars
Mars is just too much nougat without anything else to break up the texture.

Smarties
Smarties... oh gosh.  Smarties are Canadian.  I feel like Smarties are supposed to be Canada's answer to the oh so popular plain M&Ms.  BUT... the balance of candy shell to chocolate on Smarties is all wrong.  There's too much candy shell and it doesn't melt as quickly as on an M&M.  I have to be desperate for chocolate to eat Smarties.  I'm disappointed in Smarties... not a smart choice, brau!

  1. The only thing right about the order is snickers... MNM's and Smarties shouldn't even be in consideration... both those options belong on the water cooler at work
